James C. Lawson, CLU

Jim was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC and graduated from R.J. Reynolds High School.  He earned his B.A. in Mathematics from St. Andrews University in 1972.

Jim earned his FLMI (Fellow, Life Management Institute) designation in 1980 and his CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) designation in 1983.  Prior to joining National Life Insurance Company in January of 1991, Jim was a Vice President of Integon Corporation in Winston-Salem.  Jim is insurance licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina.  He specializes in business insurance, long term care insurance, estate and retirement planning.

Jim is also a registered representative of Equity Services, Inc. and has completed the FINRA requirements for Series 6 and 63.  He is appointed to offer securities in North Carolina.

Jim is a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and the Estate Planning Council of Winston-Salem.

Jim and his wife, Janet, are the parents of two sons.  Jim enjoys playing tennis and volunteering for local tennis tournaments.
